Letter from the El Diamante Choral Director

Dear Choir Friends and Families,

In the decades since its inception, the El Diamante High School Choral Department has become known for consistent high levels of performance in Tulare County, California and beyond. The Choirs have received high ratings at every choral festival and have frequently been invited to perform at CSU Fresno, CSU Long Beach and USC. The Chamber Singers have also been invited to travel to New York, Canada, and Europe. Each year many of our choral students also qualify for Regional, State, and National Honor Choirs held in various locations throughout the country.

Performing at this highly competitive level involves sacrifice from the students and their families requiring both their time and finances. From costumes to buses, our program annually utilizes over $75,000 above and beyond the allowance provided by our school district.

Every year, the choirs participate in multiple fundraisers to offset costs and to help provide financial support for those that otherwise may not be able to fully participate. In addition to the usual brochure sales, gift card sales, drive-thru dinners, and many other fundraising opportunities, we are asking you to make a financial investment in what we do.

Your sponsorship of the EDHS Choral Department will provide much needed assistance for all of our choir concerts and events. Your contribution is tax deductible as we are a non-profit organization. Enclosed with this letter you will find a list of our sponsorship levels with a variety of ways you can support us and how we plan to thank you in return.
