Beginning Alto Soprano
Freshman - Senior
This program is designed for students that are interested in exploring choral singing for the first time. Alto would be a lower female (or boy’s) voice while Soprano is a higher female (or boy’s) voice.
Bass Clef
Freshman - Senior
There are three clefs commonly used in vocal music, the treble clef used by sopranos and altos, the bass clef used by tenors and basses, and the transposed treble clef also used by tenors. This group of students are typically male voices or lower female voices. Many students refine their voices and vocal skills in Bass Clef and then "promote" to the more advanced vocal groups throughout their high school choir experience.
Advanced Women's Choir
Seniors and Juniors
Advanced Women’s Ensemble is a highly select women’s choir (Soprano, Alto). Students learn advanced singing & performance techniques, to read music at an advanced level, historical music styles and techniques, music theory, cooperation skills, problem solving skills and goal setting to achieve standards of excellence.
Concert Choir
Freshman - Senior
Concert choir is a group of choir members performing to a huge amount of audiences. Usually a "middle" level choir class, but some schools offer it as "advanced" level. Almost always plays with accompanist and includes different moods depending on the piece.
Chamber Choir
Freshman - Senior
​A chamber choir is simply a small choir (of any type), with perhaps 5-15 members. Often they are part of a larger choir. Usually they are made up of stronger singers, and sing more difficult music from the genre that the main choir offers.
